Usage

Configuring the TeamForge Connection

There are two ways that you can configure your connection to the TeamForge:

  • A server in settings.xml (recommended)
  • Pass the username and password in to the plugin

The use of settings.xml is recommended as it allows you to encrypt your password. For other configuration options, refer to the goal reference pages.

By default the plugins look for the server with ID teamforge.

<servers>
  <server>
    <id>teamforge</id>
    <username>myusername</username>
    <password>{zd4aPjBEgBIHnIESbsCu51eHP5Pq0wIXR0IqBhRAIJc=}</password>
  </server>
</servers>

Refer to the Maven Guide to Password Encryption for more information on obtaining the correct encrypted password.

Deploying Artifacts to the File Releases section

The deploy-to-releases goal will take any artifacts attached to your project and deploy them to the TeamForge File Releases section.

  <build>
    <plugins>
      <plugin>
        <groupId>com.maestrodev</groupId>
        <artifactId>collabnet-maven-plugin</artifactId>
        <version>1.1</version>
        <configuration>
          <project>myproject</project>
          <teamForgeUrl>https://teamforge01.codesion.com/</teamForgeUrl>
        </configuration>
        <executions>
          <execution>
            <id>deploy</id>
            <goals>
              <goal>deploy-to-releases</goal>
            </goals>
          </execution>
        </executions>
      </plugin>
    </plugins>
  </build>

By default, the project's name, description and version will be used to create the package and release if they don't exist. To customise these options, refer to the collabnet:deploy-to-releases goal reference.
